Goth-spiration: The Witches and Wizards from Harry Potter

I think that the characters from the Harry Potter films hold an abundance of style-spiration for darker types. It might be that the wizarding world ‘trends’ in question tend to be pulled from lots of the same inspiration Goth’s hold (ie. Victoriana, Medieval and other historical periods). Now, I’m not saying that you should go around toting a cloak at all times (though I would freakin’ love that). What I am saying is that Sirus Black’s pinstriped waistcoats, Bellatrix Lestrange’s corset/corset lacing combinations and often black, sleek blazer’s of Draco Malfoy speak for themselves.

Do you have any favourite characters, whose outfit you’d like to steal?

All three above! The whole Malfoy family has a style I would love to copy best I can. Along with Severus Snape 🙂

I love Bellatrix's outfits and would love to incorporate some of those elements into my own outfits more often :3

I should probably watch the films again; Bellatrix is quite neat. So many things to do!

I think colorful-haired Tonks is a great goth-spiration even though she didn't appear much. However, I personally find Luna Lovegood's style to be my favorite. I love her off-beat, zany, whimsical sense of style and how she doesn't care what anyone else thinks about it.

Bellatrix…love her teased hair! I try to occasionally incorporate Slytherin colors and motifs in my outfits since I am a proud Slytherin. Hehe
