Fav Five Pleaser (AKA Demonia) Shoes

Today was a super casual day that I spent writing a chapter of a super-awesome-secrete-thing (that I don’t want to make any promises about less it fail to materialise) and browsing Goggle images for reviews of Mame Clothing -Perth’s first Goth store – when I stumbled upon an older mass-shoe-review by the always-super-amazing Natalie at Gothy Two Shoes. The post reminded me that while I have my eye on a certain pair of Pleaser boots, the brand has so much to offer. So, I thought I would showcase a few of my favourites in a little Pleaser post (that sounds far more sexual than intended).

When I looked through for my favourites I tended towards patent and less out-there styles. Purely because I prefer to have shoes that will fit everything than a gigantic statement. But Pleaser are really good at doing both classic heels and massive, fluro, studded, glass heel platforms as well if that’s what you’re looking for.

First you have a classic punk, perfect for corporate jobs where you don’t walk much or if you’re a heel enthusiast a career in mountain climbing (there is at least one person out there that would do this willingly, I can feel it!). Second, is a shoe I’m not sure whether I love or hate but it combines both a brogue styled front with a classic pump style in such a way that I just can’t look away. Thirdly (not pictured above) is a type of boot that I’ve been wanting for at least a year. It is a thigh high boot minor embellishment, pull on style and low heel. Call me crazy but I would totally rock these under an oversized coat, with thigh high socks, ripped denim shorts for rushing to early trains in winter. Pretty little four I chose purely because it’s such a Goth favourite that you can find in pictures of Goth’s everywhere. What is left to say about five? It’s a cute bootie style. Personally I would prefer a smaller heel but I am but a mere mortal in the realm of Pleaser shoes.

Would you wear my selection? Tell me your pros and cons, or really just want comes to mind. (It works for me!) Are you a mere mortal in the realm of Pleaser, such as myself, or do you have a killer top five that you rock regularly? Let me know!

  1. you'd die in NYC if you wore any of those…they'd be nice to keep under your desk for snow-boot days or if you're leaving your house, going to a cab, sitting at a restaurant, back to the cab, back home.
