Five Basics I WILL Buy This Year | PART TWO

This is an unexpected sequel because I didn’t think I had the will power to stick to my original Will-Buy list. The will-buy list is in contrast to a wishlist, because it is items that I will be buying this year within reason. (Tarte the creator of the original bb-cream has dropped the ‘Cruelty Free’ label and so I’m not sure what I think yet.) Check out my reasoning’s for doing a yearly “will-buy” list rather than a wishlist in part one here.  But other than that, lets talk about the gaps in my wardrobe that need filling.

A Fitted Pea Coat/Millitary Inspired Coat

Currently I have my eye on Asos’s Pea Coat because I love the thick materials and overall style of their coats. But Coat’s are a tricky thing for me to find. Well, to find something that looks and fits right. Do you guys get that too? Are coats just tricky to find the perfect fit? Anyway, my wardrobe is yerning for a thick warm winter coat, specifically in black.

Leather Look Leggings

When ever I look for leather look leggings or even leggings in general I always end up questioning the quality. Which is why I always fall back into the Blackmilk bucket, since they’re renowned for leggings that don’t loosen up or fall apart in a few days. Not exactly “leather-look” but their plain wet-look leggings have been on my wishlist for what seems like a century. Great for simple winter layering that doesn’t weigh a tonne.

Voodoo Vixen’s Plain Black Cardigan

This one is a definite. After buying the green leopard cardigan I realised how much I was in love. The fit is perfect, fabric amazing, there’s no strange stretch to the fabric that turns it different colours or stretches the pattern. My old fitted black cardigan is on it’s way out and it’s time I bought a replacement.

Pleaser’s T-strap D’orsay Pump

I wouldn’t know if everyone needs a pair of killer heels, but on my way to finding out I’ve decided I need these in my life. The heel is three inches on the shorter version and the style is adorable but bad-ass at the same time. I know I wouldn’t wear them too often but they’re something I would love to invest in. Especially since it’s a well-known Goth and Fetish Brand.

Stick-on Nails for Adults

Continuing the nail attempts (rather than trend) are the Broadway stick-on nails that it seems every YouTuber I watch recommends; okay, maybe not the atheists. I’d love to try these in the shade ‘Casting Call‘ but they’re never in stock in my store. I’ve been considering giving in and just painting over one of the less me-ish designs with black.

So, here are the things you’re probably going to see on my blog rather soon. My mouth can’t stop watering at that coat which may or may not be a sign. But overall, these aren’t things that I’ve just randomly fallen for but things that are filling gaps in my wardrobe (or replacing downtrodden favourites). Would you ever considering creating a will-buy list? What do you think is leaving a gap in your wardrobe?

  1. About half of your list has been a "hoping to buy" for me. I've been hoping for a really nice fitted pea coat ever since I bought one that looked okay but fell apart after a month of wear. I like that they look dressy but keep you warm (and that I wouldn't have to wear a parka in the fall lol). I've also wanted wet look leggings but everywhere I find them they're super poor quality. : / The search continues!

  2. Hmm – I should really do a buy list to help me keep track, as now that I have a summer job (whoop!), I can afford things. I have the most terrible quality primark wet look leggings, but I can't really be bothered getting a better pair.

  3. I can definitely recommend leather look leggings! I have two pairs and they work with many outfits. I layer them with thick pantyhose in the wintertime, but in summer they can be worn on their own on chillier days. Mine are not very high quality, and now after about 1,5 years of use the leather pattern coating is starting to wear off. So the cheap-o ones are quite durable in my opinion!

  4. Ah, I used to own a black oversized cardigan, I would take it off. Definitely worth having one!

I've never tried those "stick it- nails". I'd love to know how they turn out! ^^

  5. Impress brand nails are wonderful. With a little bit of nail glue they last forever. (And that is with me using my hands constantly.) I usually get the short length black ones.
