Sounds like a pretty average part of someone’s wardrobe, yes? No.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a little while you might know I have a major issue. It’s an issue with pants. I’ve tried leggings, I’ve tried denim jeans, I even tried leather pants. They never stick. I’ve come to the conclusion that pants and I just don’t mix.
In the hopes of finding pants that work for me, I’ve revived the old post segment “How I style in my dreams”. The segment where I get hype for all the many ways I could totally wear this piece, before it arrives and my dreams are crushed because, maybe it sits awkwardly or none of my blouses are just the right length.
Wish me luck?
With a Statement Top!
One of the main reasons I get so bored of wearing pants is I feel like they’re so boring, and their boring takes up fifty percent of the entire outfit! I can’t make up for it with thigh-highs, ripped stockings or a thigh-harness!
So Many Witchy Layers!
Remove the boring by adding more layers. Long loose cardigan, long layered necklaces, cuff the pants to show off the boots. Don’t let the jeans take up fifty percent of the outfit!
Another issue I have with pants is that I never have the right length top to go with them. When wearing a perfectly fitted pair of jeans, I can’t shovel all of my blouse into the waist! All of my shirts are too big for me to begin with! Crop tops will just make it oh-so-easier.
There you go, here’s how I style high-waist jeans in my dreams. As for in real life? I’ll make sure to keep you posted! In the meantime, give me all of your secrets! How do you wear jeans? No, how do you wear pants? And am I the only one that has a love/hate relationship with them?
