Black Altar Apparel don’t store an abundance of products, but what they do have is worth the look! Their varsity Ouija board jacket has been on my wishlist for a long time and I finally made the leap. When it arrives I’ll be sure to post up a review with an OOTD.
Alice Takes a Trip is a store I’ve seen a lot of around online stores. Both Dollskill and Beserk stock them, which is saying something because they are another store that don’t boast a tone of products. What they do stock is pretty damn interesting. It’s a mix of grungy aesthetic, 90s inspiration and general dark fashion. You’ll find anything from a comfy black sweater with Courtney Love style lace collar to a sequin eyeball encrusted backpack. I know I’m in! (That backpack is calling my name.)
This is another store I have first hand experience with! This store specialises in occult printed t-shirts, but as of recently have been branching out into some fem-wear. They’re t-shirts are super comfortable and I can say from experience last well while being worn literally every day.
Ah, I love Bad Vibes, but they specialise majorly in shorts. I have enough shorts to last a lifetime. The pair I own by them (vegan crocodile skin) is honestly ridiculously well made, strong and beautiful. They do have the occasional velvet blouse, and mesh top though too!
Mostly vintage and vintage inspired clothing, this store is certainly more alternative than dark. You’ll be able to find lots of tie-dye, alien printed and tattoo chokers. It’s the kind of store that sells a lot of easy to wear, everyday I’ve-got-five-minutes-to-get-dressed kind of clothing.
I’d love to know your favourite smaller alt and Goth brands. So, let me know below!
