DIY PLANNER + SETTING MONTHLY INTENTIONS

Recently I had an epiphany. It was an exhaustion prompted epiphany at two AM that inspired me to buy books about moon spells, a dictionary of dream language and the Scout Books DIY calendar. That epiphany itself is another topic. But among these odd little books the Scout Books DIY calendar that comes with 12 little recycled paper monthly planners really inspired me to get creative and start setting positive intentions!

A while ago I watched a Lauren Toyota video all about manifestation. It didn’t really manifest with me much at the time (bad pun is bad) but these little journals made me realise that I could decorate them in a way that manifests my intentions and goals for the month. It’s a great way to remind myself what I’m aiming for in a positive and fun way, because I’ll be looking at this little book a lot!

So far through making these little journals I’ve remembered to:
Be a little bit selfish.
Keep track of the positive things that happen!
Take time away from the computer and work to do something fun. Like making a collage!

The hardest part has been reminding myself to use it. It helps when it looks super cute. What do you think? Would you ever do something similar? What do you think of manifestation?

I like this idea a lot! It's a little intimidating, because I think I would also have a difficult time remembering to use it….

I'm curious what books you got on moon spells and what you think of them? I'm just starting to get into moon rituals and am curious how other people use them.

    Thanks!

I've been using a planner to keep my life organised since last October and I'm still using it!! This is a seriously big achievement for me, considering that since I left school (where keeping my planner up to date was a REQUIRED task and had to be signed off my my teacher every week) I haven't managed to use one consistently for more than a couple of weeks. I got a £1 planner and covered it with some pretty leftover wrapping paper and decorated tasks with little stickers. Suddenly my life is transformed! Who knew stickers could make such a big difference?! I would really like to get into the full planner decorating trend now, so when this planner runs out in July I'll be ordering myself a nice one!

I really love the idea of monthly journals like this, and look forward to seeing how they work for you, because I'd love to do something similar.

They're very cool! I use a planner and a sort of diary/notebook. Now I am kind of inspired to make collages…
