I‘ve been sending so much time (and too much of my paycheck) on Halloween decor and so forth this year! But here are a few of the things I’m still dying to buy. They’re the kind of things that make Halloween for me!

Ah, candles. Even ordinary candles are spooky enough. It just makes it better when they smell like vanilla spicy pumpkin. I won a set of Bath and Body Works Halloween candles back in the day in a giveaway. (Speaking of which it’s you’re last chance to enter mine here!) Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to get cool Yankee candles and Bath and Body Works candles in Australia. So, I headed to Etsy and found this amazing collection by Witch City Wicks.

A life-sized skeleton is still on my wishlist from last year. I have a couple picked out. I’m determined, especially since I have so much more room in my current apartment.

Dandies vegan pumpkin marshmallows and any other vegan treats I can get my hands on!

Pumpkin spice syrup. I actually work as a barista, so I’m pretty eager to give this syrup a shot along with some spiderweb latte art.

Carving pumpkins! As soon as October 1st hits I’ll be heading straight to do some pumpkin carving!

Lush’s Halloween collection. The sparkly pumpkin bath bomb above is from a previous collection, but I hope it gets re-released this year too!

Silly Halloween decorations. I recently bought a lifesize skeleton hand and it’s been my favourite Halloween decoration. Who knew a five dollar skeleton hand would bring so much entertainment? Sometimes I think I get a little caught up trying to find good quality Halloween decorations to hang around my apartment year-round and I forget what Halloween is all about – being silly and having fun!

Anyway, that’s it for now. Stores are only just putting out their Halloween collections. I’m so excited to take a look. But I need to remind myself it’s only just hit September! Ahhh. I’m just so excited. What about you?

I think I'll try and convince the boyfriend to make a pumpkin pie. He makes a good pumpkin pie!
