SATANIST CHEERLEADER | HALLOWEEN COSTUME DIY

This is a Halloween costume I’ve been wanting to shoot for a while! Dollskill makes some pretty cute dark cheerleader outfits – I decided on the witch version of course! Of course, I couldn’t go the traditional route. I had to add a little gore! Quite a few years ago I did a similar costume on Halloween using a gouged out inverted pentagram for a “satanist costume”.

Hopefully, everyone reading this knows that Satanists are actually a perfectly normal religion, just like any other of course! This costume is just based on a stereotype. Alas, it’s a horror stereotype I adore! It reminds me of the horror movie House of the Devil. House of the Devil is a modern horror film that is shot in the style of a seventies horror movie. It’s a beautiful film that recreates all of the reoccurring horror traits of the time. Satanists were common, especially Satanists that want to impregnate you in order to give birth to the devil himself!

Personally, I think I went a little too overboard with the scab blood. But you be the judge, I also made a YouTube video of how exactly I did the makeup for this look! Check it out and you’ll see I actually cut the pentagram into moulding wax on my head. What do you think? Are you a fan of seventies style birth of the devil horror flicks? Have you seen House of the Devil?

I’m wearing the Coven Cheerleader Costume Set from Dollskill. Which! I’m also selling my Depop. It’s a size too big for me, a medium or 10-12 in Australian sizing. Go buy it for a steal!

I love this Sary! This look is everything.
Also, I just bought a book that I think you’ll like called “Satanic Panic: Pop-Cultural Paranoia in the 1980s” 🙂

I think your use of scab blood is perfect!

Alas, I don’t watch “devil” themed horror flicks, just not my cup of tea but I understand why others enjoy them.
